Roby King Gallery, Winslow Way, Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island has a thriving and vibrant arts community. Winslow Way, the village of Winslow’s main drag, is just a few minutes’ walk from the ferry and is lined with galleries, shops, coffeehouses and restaurants. The art galleries have an art walk on the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. until 8 or 9.
The literary and performing arts are well represented on Bainbridge as well. The Bainbridge Performing Arts is a community orgnization that has brought theatre, music and dance to Islanders since 1956, The community organization gives performances and classes in its modern multi-purpose arts center located a between City Hall and the Bainbridge Historical Society a short block north of Winslow Way.
